Sibling events

Every month or so we have been gathering siblings ages 8 and over for an afternoon of mini-golf or bowling, or for a movie night. This gives sibs an opportunity to build community with other siblings while giving them some special opportunities for fun separate from their brother or sister who has special needs.

Our next Sibling Movie Night will be Friday August 16th from 7pm-9pm at Saratoga Federated Church. Email dlillo@comcast.net for to RSVP or for more information.

upcoming Disability Training events

We hope this will be a place where ministry leaders can hear about upcoming disability ministry training events that might help them to better support our friends who have disabilities and their families. This fall, we are encouraging everyone to attend the Northern California Disability Ministry Conference that will be held on Saturday September 28th at Abundant Life Christian Fellowship.

Early bird registration lasts through Monday August 26th. Early bird cost is $35/person. Beginning August 27th, the cost will be $49. Email ncaldisabilitymin@gmail.com for information on group discounts for groups of 5 or more.

Parent community nights

Quarterly parents gather for dinner , fellowship and a speaker while their children play nearby with 1:1 buddies. We hope that these gatherings encourage parents to build and be refreshed by Christian community.
